Many of us who are focusing on eating healthier and paying attention to our caloric intake find it more difficult to do so on the weekends. This is usually the time we go out to eat, spend time with family and friends and for the most part, they don’t eat like us. The weekends are usually the time we relax from the hustle and bustle of work and I believe subconsciously we relax from the hustle and bustle of maintaining our health and fitness standards.,I know that you don’t want all of your hard work to go to waste. It took all week to lose that wonderful 2 pounds and all it takes is 1 bad meal or 2 to put it back on! I can remember this being so frustrating to me when I was trying to lose weight. I would usually give up on my weight loss goals because of what would take place over the weekends. I have since overcome the dreaded weekend weight gain, going on to lose over 80 pounds, and just wanted to share a few tips with you!,In order to reach our health and fitness goals we must be mindful of what we are eating on a daily basis. If for some reason you did gain a pound or two don’t give up on your weight loss goals. Find out where you went wrong. Usually it’s an unconscious routine or cycle that you have been on. If you have been keeping a journal you will be able to pinpoint it and come up with a plan of action to thwart it. Just remember to stay focused, stay consistent and enjoy the process!
